Hello and welcome to the Final Issue
of the year. When I started thinking about what I wanted
for this issue, the first thing that came to mind is lots
of content and then something fun, exciting and different.
I wanted this issue to be special and I got what I wanted.
Thanks to all of our team members. They really went the
extra length to make this issue special. A lot goes into
coordinating these issues so I would also like to say a
big thank you to the big dog of coordination, the most coordinated
person I know, our creative director, Nkeiruka Oruche for
making sure everything went smoothly. You are "it"
girlfriend. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone
that took their time to work on this issue. It is a great
issue that I am very proud of. I would also like to say
a big thank you to our readers, most especially those who
send those encouraging emails we love so much, keep it coming,
we love to hear from you.
Nigerian Entertainment has gone
through a lot of face lifts over the past few years and
yes, this is yet another one. There is only one word to
describe the content in this issue, HOT!. You do not want
to miss out on a single page. I have been watching a lot
of E! Channel lately and they always seem to have one countdown
or another. The countdowns are always very amusing and fun
to watch. This insipred one of my favorite section in this
issue, the top 5 of 2005. Some of our team members were
asked to come up with what they thought was the best 5 of
2005 in each category. We have categories like Top 5 scandals,
Top 5 no they didnt, so prepare to laugh till you drop.
Just a reminder, NE is dedicated
to promoting up and coming entertainers so if you are one,
do not forget to contact us. We love to see new things and
are very open to featuring your event, article, poetry,
etc. Now sit back and enjoy and do not forget to join our
mailing list for up to date information about Nigerian Entertainment.
God Bless and a happy holidays to
all- Toni Payne
