NO 3 – Pusha T – M.F.T.R.” (Featuring The-Dream)

Do you remember Madonna’s Like a Virgin music video? Pusha T recently released the visuals to his rap song MFTR and it reminds me of that video. The video was well thought out and actually made me like the song. The choice of using The dream for the hook was a fantastic one. He had me signing right along. It is such a visually captivating video with an interesting story line. It will keep you engaged from start to finish. The director did a great job telling the story. I also like that it is dark and a bit scary. Reminds me of the feeling I got watching Antidote. I think with the video I have a new-found interest in Pusha T. I love that the visuals and the audio mesh perfectly. MFTR by Pusha T comes in as my Number 3 pick for best music videos of the week.

NO 2 – 9ice – Ogara

OMG so Daddy Zion has swag like this? Choi! 9ice has ventured into music video directing and Ogara is his first official video. For a first effort I think he did a great job. The video is clean and simple. It is not gaudy and does not take away from the message of the song. The visuals are crisp and the ladies pretty. The wardrobe choices shows a more “trendy” side of 9ice. I love that they also made it fun. Some of my favorite parts were the little children coming along in the video, the nice cars and what happens at he very end of the video. It shows that 9ice can also be a fun person to be around. The song itself has a wonderful message and the video adds quality to the audio. We look forward to seeing more 9ice aka Alexander the Great music videos. Although our Music Video Review writer will be doing an official review on the video, Ogara by 9ice is my number 2 pick for best music videos of the week.

NO 1 – CHRIS BROWN – Little More

Saying I love this video is an understatement. This to me is one of the cutest and best videos Chris Brown has shot. The cuteness overload is so heartwarming you will want to watch it over and over and over again. I love how the video starts out. He does a slight abstract about the sort of life he led and what may have led to his daughter Royalty. I love how he wakes up and finds her there in the room with him. I think with this new video, Chris Brown wants his fans to know he is a new man and the reason for that is this little precious baby girl. Royalty is a born actress. She was so natural through the video. You can feel the love between father and child resonate loudly. Chris Browns Little More video is without a doubt my number 1 Music video pick of the week.
