Stamford bridge and Old trafford have not been radiating happiness of late due to unacceptable results, Mourinho has been slightly relieved of the pressure lately thanks to Chelsea’s impressive win over Porto last week but we aren’t new to false dawns at Chelsea this season for example the win over Arsenal and the two 4-0 wins over Maccabi Tel aviv in the champions league only to return to losing ways, 10 losses already this season after losing just 4 in the whole of last season isn’t the kind of stat that should be seen anywhere around SW6, though the club management has given Mourinho their vote of confidence but some consistency is the only key to him not eventually getting the sack.

Former Mourinho’s boss at Barcelona Louis Van Gaal likewise has not been finding life rosy lately at old Trafford the fans have called him boring after spending £250M over the summer his team still struggles to score goals(scoring only 3 goals in their last 6 home league games and conceding none), though until recently, they had a solid defense to cover up for the flaws in attack, they’ve lost that defense to injury now, they crashed out of the champions league last week losing 3-2 to Wolfsburg and were beaten 2-1 by Bournemouth over the weekend leaving Van Gaal under immense pressure. If things don’t improve  the Stamford bridge and Old Trafford heirachy might be forced into taking drastic decisions and considering their options. I have come up with the list of the Top 5 manager they might be turning to:

Pep Guardiola:

The very intelligent tiki taka advocate is doing really well with Bayern Munich but with his contract ending in 2016 and no new contract signed yet the Spaniard has made it clear his intention of managing in England and cited London as his preferred city to Manage in which leaves Chelsea in pole position to get him should Mourinho be sacked, but Manchester United have been rumoured to be already making their move on a low key.

Carlo Ancelotti:

The Former Chelsea boss and 3 time champions league winner is open to managing in England again, he was sacked a year after guiding Chelsea to their first league and FA cup double and I believe if Chelsea could call Mourinho back for a second spell, why not Ancelotti? The well traveled Italian isn’t definitely desperate for a return to Chelsea and unlike Guardiola, he doesn’t have a preferred city even though he still has a house in London, he is also well open to coaching United as well.

Diego Simeone:

The Argentine is one of the most sought after coach due to his achievement over the last 4 years with a modest Atletico side who are known for selling rather than buying, he’s won everything with them except the champions league which he was only 2 minutes away from winning, Yes he got that close. Atletico Madrid definitely sells and if either Chelsea or United come calling for Simeone at a price, be rest assured that Atletico Madrid would answer.

Antonio Conte:

3 consecutive serie A titles and one unbeaten season with Juventus between 2011 and 2014 speaks volume about conte who is the current manager of the Italian national team. He has also in the past shown interest in one day managing in England and who knows he might be getting his chance when either of the coaches get the sack.

Fabio Capello:

The Italian has never coached in England but has managed the English national team which would have familiarized him with top teams like Chelsea and Manchester United, he was relieved of his job earlier this year with Russia after a poor start to the Euro 2016 qualifiers. His profile indicates he is up to the task should Stamford bridge or Old Trafford come calling, Coaching Roma, Juventus, 3 different stints with Ac Milan, 2 stints with Real Madrid and times with England and Russia speak for him.

Update: A few hours after we did this report. Jose Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea FC.
